Worship is the heart of what we do as a faith community.
It is what restores us in the faith and sends us out to serve.
Because we are a diverse gathering of believers, we are committed to providing inspiring worship both in traditional and blended in style. We call the 9:00am a blended service, as we meet in the fellowship hall and include a children's worship time, a full choir that sings praise music and songs that are accompanied by acoustical elements like the guitar, keyboard and drums. The traditional 10:30am service is located in the sanctuary and consists of formal liturgy, a full choir, and features a pipe organ to accompany classical hymns.
Though we have distinct worship formats and music styles in our worship,
both services are guided by an essential unity of purpose-- to worship God.
Worship with us...
Blended (modern) worship is located in the fellowship hall at 9:00am
Currently, worship is one service at 10:30am, held in either the Fellowship Hall or Sanctuary. Church members are present to actively guide you.
traditional worship is located in the sanctuary at 10:30am
during worship, what is available for my children?
As the Psalmist wrote, "Children are a gift from the Lord…” (Psalm 127:3). At Community Presbyterian, we embrace this notion and strive to provide entertaining and stimulating opportunities to help children develop strong and personal relationships with God. They are a valued part of our worship service! Each Sunday, worship boxes filled with activities and a special children's bulletin are available in rear of the sanctuary. The ushers can assist you with locating these boxes.
Time is given in worship for a special moment with the children. Nursery care is available from 10:15a-11:15a for infants through 4 years of age.
