Community presbyterian care ministries
Stephen Ministry
Stephen Ministers provide confidential, one-to-one Christian care to individual members in our congregation and community who are experiencing challenges in their lives. If you have an ability to listen and offer an affectionate ear, please consider giving your time to this important ministry
Time Commitment: A new training takes place each year. After training is complete, you will be assigned a caregiver who you will need to meet or contact on a weekly/bi-weekly basis.

Visitation and Home Communion
Within every faith community there are those members who find themselves limited in their mobility. The Visitation program is comprised of a group of members that stay connected to our home bound congregation through casual visits and periodic phone calls. Once a month we bring them communion when we celebrate the Lord’s Supper with the entire congregation. If you enjoy visiting with people, hospitality and Christian caregiving, please join our team.
Time Commitment: Two hours each month

Casserole Connection
We love to cook and care! Casserole Connection is a cooking ministry that prepares an assortment of frozen casseroles which are stored in the church kitchen. They are shared whenever a member may have a need for one. We are always looking for willing hands to gather in the church kitchen to put a batch of these casseroles together!
Time Commitment: Scheduled on a monthly basis

Time Commitment: 1-3 hours; as needed for funeral receptions
